About the Online Staff Directory

Find a Person

From the home page:

In the box, type in either a first name or a surname or a job title, then click the search button.

From Advanced Search:

In the Find a Person section, enter one or more of first name, surname and job title.

If you want to search the whole directory, then leave the unit box above blank. If you want to search within a particular unit, then select the unit from the drop down list.

Find an Office or Service

From the home page:

In the box, type in the name of a unit, office or service, for example, planning, finance or travel.

From Advanced Search:

In the Find a Service section, enter the name of a unit, office or service.

If you want to search the whole directory, then leave the unit box above blank. If you want to search within a particular unit, then select the unit from the drop down list.

Print a Unit Directory

From Advanced Search

In the top box, select the unit you want then click List Unit. You can print this page, or click on the printer friendly page link. This listing also includes main contacts / officers at the top.

Note that in Internet Explorer, if you want to see the background stripes when you print, you may need to use the program menus to select Tools, Internet Options, Advaned, Print Background Colors and Images.

From All Units [PDF]

Open All Units [PDF]. Print the page or pages you are interested in.

To print a Unit Directory in Team Order

Use the Unit Directory in Unit then Team order.

Print the University Directory

On the left hand navigation bar there are two links for this.

All Staff [PDF] shows all personal entries in alphabetical order.

All Units [PDF] shows all personal and service entries in unit order. Each unit shows officer entries, then service entries, then personal entries in alphabetical order.

Both directories are PDF files, for which you will need Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat installed on your machine. All University machines come with this as standard. If you are at home and have not got a copy, you can download Adobe Reader for free from www.adobe.com.

Update the Directory

Each unit within the University has a Staff Directory Administrator for updating the directory. You can contact your administrator by clicking on Your Administrator in the left hand navigation bar. When your administrator updates the details, switchboard are automatically notified. Changes are made to the search and unit directories immediately. The full University PDF directories are updated overnight.

Please let your administrator know if your details changes. You can also let the administrator of another unit know if you notice that details within their unit need updating or removing.

About the Directory

This version of the directory has been developed by Information Services Division 2004-2005. Minor amendments were made in March 2006.
